One millionth Covid-19 vaccine to be given in Suffolk and North East Essex
The milestone will be reached on board the mobile vaccination bus
The one millionth Covid-19 vaccine will be administered in the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System area today (21 May).
It's hoped the milestone will encourage other people, who are eligible for the jab, to come forward and book an appointment.
The one millionth dose will be given on board the mobile vaccination bus this afternoon, as part of a vaccination session being held for eligible people in Ipswich.
The Suffolk and North East Essex area was rated number one in the country last week for the rollout of the second dose to cohorts 1-10.
