Detectives are continuing to investigate the deaths of a man and a woman at a property on Cumberland Street in Woodbridge.

Officers were called to reports that two bodies had been discoverd shortly after 6.15pm on Saturday 10th April.

Post-mortem examinations have since been completed by the Home Office.

The death of the woman, believed to be in her 60's, is being treated as murder after the examination found she'd died from compression to her neck.

The death of the man, who's in his 70's, is not being treated as suspicious.

Police say formal identification has yet to take place.

Detectives say the investigation continues but confirmed they don't believe there is anyone else involved in this incident.

A police scene remains at the property, but there is no threat to the wider community.
