The Tourism Minister has been visiting Suffolk.

Suffolk Coastal MP, Therese Coffey took Nigel Huddleston on a tour, including Southwold Pier, Adnams Brewery, Snape Maltings and the new visitor tower at Sutton Hoo giving people a new perspective on the burial ground made increasingly famous by film, The Dig.

Therese said:

"Our hospitality and tourist industry is hugely important for jobs here in Suffolk and now that Covid restrictions have fallen away and large numbers of people holidayed in the UK this year, I’m delighted businesses will have had the opportunity to have a bumper summer and are in a good place as we edge towards autumn half term."
