The Tour of Britain comes to Suffolk today.

It's returning to the county for the first time since 2017.

Stage 5 of the elite men's race will start and finish in Felixstowe. It'll be the longest stage of the race, with riders covering 119 miles (192km).

The stage in Suffolk will start at the Felixstowe seafront at 10:45am, while the racers are expected to be finishing at Sea Road just after 15:30.

The Tour Of Britain organisers have given these timings for other locations:

Kesgrave (11:14)

Ipswich (11:26)

Brantham (12:09)

East Bergholt (12:17)

Bildeston (12:43)

Needham Market (13:04)

Stowmarket (13:12)

Framlingham (13:56)

Saxmundham (14:13)

Woodbridge (14:58)

The Netherlands' Olav Kooij has won all four stages of this year's Tour of Britain to equal Edvald Boasson Hagen's record of four consecutive stage wins.

The Jumbo-Visma rider, 21, will be hoping to become the lone record holder with victory on the Suffolk roads.

Parking suspensions will be in place on many roads:

Bildeston | Debenham | Earl Soham | East Bergholt | Felixstowe – Sea Road | Felixstowe – Undercliff Road | Framlingham | Garrison Lane and Langer Road | Hadleigh | Ipswich | Leiston | Melton | Saxmundham | Shotley | Stutton | Trimley | Woodbridge

There are also road closures on Sea Road.

Thousands of spectators are expected along the route, while people who travel along the route may be delayed.
