"The end is in sight" says Suffolk County Council leader
But warns we must stick to lockdown rules

A 'steady as she goes approach' is how the roadmap out of lockdown is being described in Suffolk.
The Leader of the County Council has been evaluating the Prime Minister's announcement earlier this week.
Councillor Matthew Hicks says whilst Suffolk has done well in bringing covid numbers down, there's still a long way to go before restrictions are lifted.
He said:
"The end is in sight, but we still need to be cautious and follow all the guidelines, because there's a clear path now, but actually we still need to follow all the guidelines to get to 21 June and things should be a lot better.
"There's a light at the end of the tunnel, but there's still a long way to go, so by coming together and playing our part that will allow us to come out the other end and get back to doing things we all enjoy doing, which at the moment, we simply can't do."
