A 100-year-old woman from Suffolk's had a very happy birthday - after receiving over 500 cards to mark the milestone!

Olive Welch, who lives at Manor Farm Care Home in Kessingland, was inundated with cards from around the world after the care home put out a request on social media for one hundred to be sent.

In a post shared on social media, the care home says it's 'bowled over by the generosity and cannot thank everybody enough for making today a truly unforgettable day for Olive'.

The centenarian received cards from as far away as Australia and America, along with handmade cards from local school children, and number of gifts video messages and even a card from a dog called Bentley.

She also got a card from the King and Queen and a visit from the Mayor of Lowestoft.
