Sudbury restaurant closes down "with a very heavy heart"
The Boathouse says changes behind the scenes mean it has to close down
A Sudbury restaurant has announced its to close down at short notice.
Staff at The Boathouse say its not due to the cost of living or bills, but changes behind the scenes.
In a statement posted on social media, they wrote: "We have had an amazing time meeting old friends and making new ones."
"Hopefully one day we may be able to open another venue in town under different circumstances."
The bar and restaurant on the banks of the River Stour was relaunched last year and was formerly known at The Riverside.
