The service at the Borehamgate shopping precinct was originally supposed to close today
Sudbury's Post Office has been saved from closure at the 11th hour, with the current postmaster agreeing to stay on.
The service at the Borehamgate shopping precinct was originally set to close today, at short notice.
Customers were pointed towards alternative Post Offices at Great Cornard and Great Waldingfield as the company looked for a more permanent solution.
However its now been announced, at the last minute, the Borehamgate Post Office will remain open as normal.
The company says it will continue to operate as usual 'for now' under the same postmaster.
