A man's admitted to a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in connection with a stabbing in Stowmarket.
Police were called at around 11am on Sunday 2nd February to reports that a man had been attacked in Leveret Gardens.
The victim – a man in his 20s – was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police arrested 26-year-old Simon Jones and 60-year-old Nicola Jones, both of Freehold Road, Needham Market, in Ipswich later the same day.
They were charged two days later.
Now, Simon Jones has today appeared in court to admit the charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He's also admitted to possessing a knife in a public place.
He was remanded into custody and will appear in court again on the 22nd May.
Nicola Jones appeared in court earlier this month where she denied the charge.
The 60-year-old is currently out on conditional bail.
A provisional trial date for both has been set for July.
