Six arrested and two hospitalised after reported fight in Ipswich
A man in his 20's is in hospital after suffering head and facial injuries
Six people have been arrested following reports of a fight in Ipswich.
Police were called just after 10.30pm last night (9th June 2024) to reports of an incident involving a group of males in Duke Street.
Officers arrived but the group left the scene, a man in his 20's was found nearby and had sustained head and facial injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where he currently remains.
A teenage boy was also taken to hospital and discharged after suffering an injury to his hand.
Six people have been arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident. T
hey have all been taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Some police cordons were in place in the Duke Street area, but these have now all been lifted.
