Well-known radio newsreader and voiceover artist Sharon Plummer has died aged just 39.
She had recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, just nine months after the birth of her daughter.
Sharon worked on many local radio stations including stations in Sussex and in Norfolk.
She worked with us here on Hits Radio for a few years before moving to do more voiceover work from her home in Lincolnshire.
Many friends have paid tribute and a GoFundMe page, which was set up before her death, has already raised over ÂŁ4,000.
She was an important part of our news team during her time here and our thoughts are with her friends and family.
