Motorcyclist killed in A143 crash at Stanton

Police remain at the scene of fatal collision on the A143 at Stanton.

Officers were called at 7.55pm last night (Tuesday 18th May) to reports of a crash involving a motorcyclist and a lorry.

The motorcyclist - a man in his 30s - died at the scene.

The A143 remains closed in both directions between the junction with the A1088 near Ixworth and the B1111 at Stanton whilst investigations into the circumstances of the collision continue.

Motorists are advised to find alternative routes.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area just prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting reference: CAD 359 of 18th May.
