Suffolk seed company takes top three prizes in the 'plant of the year' at the Chelsea Flower Show
The Agapanthus 'Black Jack' took first place
A Suffolk seed company's become the first to take the top three prizes in the 'plant of the year' category at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Ipswich based firm Thompson and Morgan supplied the Agapanthus 'Black Jack' which took first place.
Its 'Euphoria Pink' hydrangea came in second, and its 'Camouflage' weigela took third place.
Thompson and Morgan posted on Facebook, telling followers the Agapanthus 'Black Jack' is the result of "years of dedicated hybridised breeding by De Wet Plant Breeders, South Africa."
They said they're 'thrilled' with the result.
