Second arrest after Ipswich machete attack

A 16 year old boy suffered arm injuries in the incident last week

Police are questioning an 18 year old man after a machete attack on a teenager in Ipswich last week.

The 16 year old boy suffered injuries to his arm after being assaulted in the Newnham Court area at around 6pm on Wednesday.

The man has been questioned on suspicion of GBH at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre and has been bailed until April.

A man in his 40s was arrested on Saturday (March 26) and has been released under investigation.

Police are still appealing for witnesses.
