Saxmundham stabbing suspect released on bail
A 29 year old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Wednesday
A man arrested in connection with a stabbing in Saxmundham earlier this week has been released on bail.
Police were called at around 10:20pm on Wednesday (November 15) to reports of an assault on Mayflower Avenue.
A 19 year old man has suffered stab wounds to his back, arms and sides. He remains in hospital in a stable condition.
The 26 year old suspect was questioned on suspicion of attempted murder and has been released until Feburary 13 2023, pending further enquiries.
