Police seek man after assault and theft in Pakenham

A man was attacked while out walking his dogs

Police are looking for a man after a dog walker was assaulted and had his phone stolen in Pakenham.

It happened on Saturday March 26 at around 4:45pm on Fen Road.

The victim was approached by the suspect, who complained that he didn't have his dog on a lead.

The suspect then verbally abused the victim's sister. When the victim intervened he was punched in the face and had his phone stolen.

Police are looking for a white man, thought to be in his early 20s. He was around 5ft 9in tall, with short brown/black hair.

At the time he was wearing a black Northface t-shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.
