Police hunt two men after armed robbery near Sudbury
The men threatened staff before taking cash from the till
Police are searching for two men after an armed robbery at a shop near Sudbury late last night.
Two men, wearing balaclavas, entered the Co-op store in The Drift between 9:20pm and 9:45pm.
One of the men was armed with a crowbar, which was used to force the till open to steal cash.
Members of staff in the shop were threatened and were left shaken-up but otherwise unhurt.
One of the suspects is described as white, around 5ft 9in fall, of stocky build, with a local accident.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to get in touch.
