Police appeal to trace driver after serious crash on A14 near Coddenham

Police investigating a serious crash on the A14 are trying to trace the driver of a car who may have seen what happened.

It happened eastbound between the A1120 Stowmarket and A140 Coddenham junctions at around 6:40am last Monday (November 20).

A black Ford Fiesta and a black Vauxhall Astra were involved.

One man suffered serious injured and was taken to Addenbrookes in a serious condition.

Another man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug driving and has been released under investigation.

Officers are not trying to find the driver of a red or brown coloured Audi A1 seen near the scene at the time.

The owner, or anyone who knows who was behind the wheel, is being urged to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
