Police appeal after teenager assaulted in Kesgrave

A teenage girl has been left with minor injuries - after an assault in Kesgrave last week

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an assault on a teenage girl is Kesgrave earlier this month.

The girl was approached by an unknown woman as she was walking on Main Road, near the High School, at around 8:45am on March 8.

The woman shouted and swore at her, before slapping her in the face. The suspect left the scene in the direction of St Olaves Road.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was left upset by the incident.

Police are trying to trace a woman described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins in height and of average build.

She has shoulder-length hair that is described as dark bleach in colour, with grey highlights and was wearing a short high-vis jacket, black leggings and grey trainers with geometric shapes.
