Police are looking for witnesses after a vehicle was hit by concrete on the A14 at Newmarket over the weekend.

It happened at around 3:45pm on Saturday (Match 26) westbound near Junction 38.

A Iveco horsebox was hit by a large chunk of concrete, which police think was thrown deliberately, as it passed under a bridge.

Police say they want to hear from anyone driving in the area at the time or who saw anyone walking in the area of the bridge.

They're also calling for anyone who captured dashcam footage to get in touch.
