Police appeal after assault at Ipswich Cattle Market bus station

A man in his 50s suffered a fractured eye socket during the attack

Police have launched an appeal after an assault in Ipswich during which a man suffered a fractured eye socket.

It happened at around 3am on Tuesday June 14 at the Old Cattle Market bus station.

The victim, in his 50s, was involved in a fight with a group of three men during which he was punched and fell to the floor.

He was later taken to Ipswich Hospital.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or was in the area at the time to come forward.
