A Suffolk man has denied murdering his wife and 12 year old daughter in Great Waldingfield last September.

44 year old Jillu Nash was found dead along with 12 year old daughter Louise Nash at their home in the Heath Estate at around 10am on September 8th 2022.

A post-mortem determined Jillu had died from pressure to the neck, while Louise had suffered a stab wound to the abdomen.

46 year old old Peter Nash, who was found at the scene with serious injuries, was charged with two counts of murder.

Appearing at Ipswich Crown Court, Peter Nash wore grey sweatpants and a dark blue sweatshirt and used a walker to assist him as he stood to answer the charges.

He said: "In my mind, I know I am not guilty".

A provisional trial date has been set for April 17, with a time estimate of up to four weeks.
