Man hospitalised after attack by burglars in Haverhill
The victim was attacked after two men broke into his home last night
A man's been hospitalised after being attacked during a burglary at his home in Haverhill last night (January 25)
It happened on Wellum Close at approximately 11:45pm.
Two men forced their way into the home by smashing the glass on a side door. They attacked the man before fleeing in the direction of York Road.
The victim needed treatment in hospital for injuries to his leg and face, but has since been discharged.
Police are appealing for witnesses, as well as dashcam footage from anyone who was driving through the area at the time.
