Man charged after Ferrari crash in Ipswich
He's been charged with a total of 16 offences
A man from Ipswich has been charged with a total of 16 offences, some of which are in connection with a crash in the town at the weekend involving a Ferrari.
Police were called on Saturday morning to reports a red Ferrari had crashed with a parked car on Lindbergh Road.
Officers were there within minutes but found the driver of the Ferrari had run off.
A suspect was found and arrested around two hours later.
The Ferrari had been reported stolen to police around 20 minutes before the crash, from a property in Nacton.
It had been taken from a secure garage.
35 year-old Lee Nicholls from Hawke Road has been charged in connection with the crash and a number of other crimes.
He was remanded in custody after appearing at Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
