Man charged after Bury St Edmunds stabbing
It's after a man was attacked at a car park on Monday
A man has been charged after a stabbing in Bury St Edmunds earlier this week.
Police were called to the Parkway multistorey at around 2:30pm on Monday.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Alexander Cornell, 27, from Britannia Road in Ipswich has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court today (July 6).
