Man arrested after stabbing in Bury St Edmunds
Police were called to a multistorey car park yesterday afternoon
A man has been arrested after a stabbing in Bury St Edmunds yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the Parkway multistorey in the town at around 2:30pm.
The victim, in his 40s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 27 year old man from Ipswich has been arrested on suspicion of assault and causing grevious bodily harm.
He was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Police don't think the attack was random and officers think the people involved were known to each other.
