Lorry driver charged after fatal crash on A14 near Ipswich

It's after the death of a 61 year old motorcyclist early yesterday

A lorry driver has been charged after a fatal crash on the A14 near Ipswich yesterday (September 21).

Two vehicles, a lorry and a motorbike, were involved in the collsion eastbound between Sproughton and the Copdock Interchange .

The motorbike rider, a 61 year old man, was declared dead at the scene.

33 year old Sergejs Baikovs, of Tattershall Road in Boston, Lincolnshire was arrested following the collision.

He has now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court today (September 22).
