London man jailed for 40 months for drug dealing in Ipswich
The 19 year old was convicted of supplying heroin and cocaine
A London man has been jailed for over three years after being convicted of supplying Class A drugs in Ipswich.
19 year old Emran Ahmed of Hopton Road was handed 40 months in prison at Ipswich Crown Court on Wednesday (November 16) after admitting to two counts of bring concerned in the supply of drugs, namely heroin and cocaine.
He was arrested on May 1 in Alexandra Park. An examination of his phone found he had links to 'county lines' drug dealing and had contact with supplies of Class A drugs in Ipswich.
The arrest came under a joint operation between Suffolk Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police to tackle the movement of drugs between the capital and Suffolk.
