Ipswich Town have announced their pre-season schedule, as the Tractor Boys prepare for their long-awaited return to Championship football.

A series of friendlies starts with a trip to non-league Felixstowe & Walton United on July 1.

The game will follow the same format at last season's pre-season trip to Needham Market, with two 30 minute halves before a penalty shootout.

The match will be played from 1pm on July 1 at the AGL Arena, which is also the home of Ipswich Town Women.

On July 22 the Tractor Boys head to Cambridge United, in a 12pm kickoff at the Abbey Stadium.

In a test of fitness, Blues then head to Stevenage on the same day in a 3pm kickoff.
