Ipswich Town youngster Elkan Baggott signs new deal
The 19 year old has put pen to paper on a new three year deal
Ipswich Town have handed a new deal to defender Elkan Baggott.
The 19 year old has penned a three year contract keeping him at Portman Road until 2025.
The club also has the option to extend the deal for a further 12 months.
He made two appearances for Blues' in League One last season and also made regular appearances for the U23s side.
Over the summer he's been on international duty for Indonesia, winning two caps and scoring in a 7-nil victory over Nepal.
Speaking to the ITFC website, Elkan said: “I’m buzzing to have signed a new contract.
“It’s been a great few days for me and I am delighted to have committed my future to the Club.
"I want to thank the gaffer as he has really helped me improve as a player since coming in. I would also like to thank the people around me, and close to me, who always give me support.
“My aim for next season is to play as much football as possible, whether that’s here or if the right loan opportunity comes up.”
