Ipswich Town's Wes Burns has been called up for the Wales national side, ahead of five international fixtures.

He will be available for the FIFA World Cup qualification play-off against either Scotland or Ukraine on June 5.

Wales are also set to take on Poland, the Netherlands and Belgium in the Nations League next month.

The call up is Wes' third for Wales. He was last selected for the national side in 2016, but is yet to earn a cap.

Burns netted 13 times for Blues in the 2021/22 season after signing from Fleetwood Town.

He's previously played for Wales at the under-21 level.
