Ipswich Town Women have made history, getting past Southampton yesterday on penalties to make it into the last 8 of the Women's FA Cup.

It's the first time in the Tractor Girls' history that they've made it this far in the competition, which is usually dominated by top flight Women's Super League Clubs. ITFC are the lowest ranked team in the final 8.

Town's women held Southampton to nil - nil at the Goldstar Ground yesterday afternoon, when Anna Grey scored for the blues in the 110th minute.

However the joy was short lived, with Saints' keeper Kayla Rendell scoring a last minute header to force a penalty shootout.

Ipswich progressed thanks to a 4 - 2 penalty win, with Lucy O'Brien, Issy Bryant, Zoe Barratt and Paige Peake finding the net.

The Tractor Girls will find out who they'll face in the last 8 tomorrow morning at 9:15am. The last 8 is as follows:

1 - Everton

2 - Birmingham City

3 - Coventry United

4 - West Ham United

5 - Chelsea

6 - Manchester City

7 - Ipswich Town

8 - Arsenal
