Ipswich Town will start their next League One campaign at home with a visit from Bolton Wanderers at the end of July.

Blues then hit the road to Forest Green Rovers for the first away match of the 2022/23 season.

The final game of the season is Fleetwood away, while Boxing Day will be at home against Oxford United.

The season will pause between mid-November and early-December to allow space for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

It's a Suffolk/Essex derby in the Carabao Cup with Ipswich drawn at home to Colchester in the first round, penciled in for August 8.

In the Papa John's Trophy the Tractor Boys are joined in Southern Group H by Cambridge, Northampton and an Arsenal u21s side.

Two of the three matches in the Trophy group stages will be at Portman Road, with the first tie to be played during the week commencing August 29.
