Ipswich man jailed for Class A drug dealing
He sent around 3,000 messages to local drug users over a period of three months last year

An Ipswich man has been jailed for 40 months in connection with Class A drug dealing.
38 year old Robert Keegan of Peterhouse Close admitted to two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs at Ipswich Crown Court.
He was involved in the sale of drugs to users in the town between April and July last year.
Police examining his mobile phone found he was responsible for sending bulk text messages to contacts, and dealing with potential sales.
He sent around 3,000 messages over a three month period.
DC Daniel Steel of the Serious Crime Disruption Team at Suffolk Police said: “This was a classic example of how drug dealers use mobile phones to ply their criminal trade.
"County lines drug dealing has a terrible impact on Ipswich and the surrounding area. The sentence passed today reflects this conviction will serve as both an example of what awaits other drug dealers and how meticulously we at Suffolk Police will work to put such individuals behind bars".
