"Bored men" in Ipswich are invited to attend a "Man Crèche" that is launching in the area next week.

The Ipswich Greyfriars Round Table have been working to improve men's mental and physical wellbeing in the area for several years now.

The Round Table movement is a social club for young men aged 18-45.

They say, "It's all about making friends, having fun and trying things you've not done before."

Their new project launches on the 2nd September.

Scuba diving, outdoor cooking, axe-throwing, and retro gaming are among the activities being offered in their new "Man Crèche".

The Round Table group posted on Facebook:

"People of Ipswich, I'm going to ask you to do something for me..........

Look to your left ...... then to your right ...... is there a young lad in your house aged 18-45 that's looking bored out of his skull knowing that Love Island All-stars is on again tonight?

Then get him out to our next events."

The crèche will open with events like a Post A Piano Through A Post Box and will be held weekly.

They are also looking to expand this effort and introduce the Ladies Circle Great Britain and Ireland Club in Ipswich.

Events will be held at different locations, with those interested asked to keep an eye on the Ipswich Greyfriars Roundtable Facebook page.
