Police investigating after woman followed by cyclist in Haverhill

Police are appealing for information after a woman out walking her dog in Haverhill was followed by a man on a bicycle.

She was in the Chimswell and Betony Walk areas of town on Wednesday 2nd February when it happened around 5.30pm.

The cyclist followed her along Chimswell Way as she walked with her dog towards the estate, he then stopped and rode back when she crossed over, getting very close.

He sped off when she met her son.

The cyclist is described as white, thought to be in his early 20s, 5ft8/9, slim build, wearing a navy or black plain hoodie, with a black balaclava covering his face.

He was riding a navy blue mountain bike with white writing on the frame.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call 101.
