Fatal crash at Halesworth
One man died at the scene
A man's died in a crash at Halesworth.
Two cars - an Audi and a Kia Cee’d - collided on the A1444 at around 9.40pm last night (15 August).
The driver of the Audi RS4, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver and passenger of the Kia were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Road closures were put in place on the A144 and surrounding roads to allow for recovery of the vehicles and an investigation into the circumstances.
The roads were reopened at approximately 8am today, (16 August).
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area just prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
