A music charity in the East is set to benefit from funds raised from the auction of a guitar signed by Suffolk's very own Ed Sheeran.

The musician, who is known for his charitable donations, was happy to support Essex-based 'We are Music', according to the charity.

They say it will go under the hammer at auction to raise funds to help them keep providing music lessons for young people in Harwich.

The charity aims to help them learn skills, make friends and focus on their wellbeing whilst spreading music throughout their community.

It was organised by the charity's Youth Council, arranged with Decoy Studios.

The children and staff at We are Music sent Ed Sheeran a card, to say thank you for his help.
