Police are looking for 5 men after a ram raid at a Tesco store in Brandon.

Thieves used a stolen digger to take cash machines from the building, off London Road, between 1:25am and 1:30am this morning.

It caused severe damage to the front of the shop.

It's thought the cashpoints were lifted onto the back of a flatbed Ford Transit van, which then drove away along with a black Audi A4.

The digger was abandoned in the car park. Police think it was stolen from near Diss.

Both cash machines were recovered after a brief police chase along the A1065. The van was abandoned at the junction with Langwith Road and all of the suspects escaped the scene.

Officers think the van was taken from the Foster Business Park in Wisbech.

Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who was driving cloe to Brandon or Lakenheath between 1am and 2am this morning.
