Detectives are continuing to investigate a stabbing in Ipswich
Two people arrested have now been bailed
Detectives are continuing to investigate a stabbing in the Chantry area of Ipswich earlier this week.
Two people arrested in connection with the attack on Hawthorn Drive on Monday night have now been bailed.
Officers were called just before 9pm on Monday by a member of the public who'd seen a group of men, some of which were armed with knives.
A short time later the hospital called in to say a man was in A&E with stab wounds - he's since been discharged.
Police say they believe there were eight suspects involved, who are all described as wearing dark clothing and had their faces obscured.
It's thought two vehicles, a red Fiat 500 and white Ford Fiesta, were also involved.
A renewed appeal for anyone who saw what happened to come forward has been issued by Suffolk Police.
Officers particularly want to hear from anyone who has seen the vehicles mentioned above, both of which were likely carrying numerous passengers.
Extra patrols have been carried in the area since the attack and additional stop and search powers were given to officers in the 24 hours after the stabbing.
