Sharp increase in Covid cases in Ipswich in just one week
Case numbers have gone up over 40% in just seven days.
Ipswich has seen one of the biggest increases in Covid cases in one week in the UK.
Case numbers went up over 40% in the week to the 7th October, jumping from 478.8 per hundred thousand, to 679.5.
It's among the top five places in the UK with the highest increases in the same time period.
The figures are based on the number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 in either a lab-reported or rapid lateral flow test, by specimen date.
