Man arrested following Ipswich fire at a cannabis farm

No-one was injured in the blaze, but it did damage properties

A man's been arrested in connection with a fire in Ipswich which is linked to a cannabis farm.

Police were called to Kitchener Road on Sunday 29th May to respond to a fire.

Although no-one was injured in the blaze, it did cause damage to a number of properties on the street.

An investigation into the fire revealed a cannabis farm at the location.

Police believe the fire may have been started deliberately and are considering arson.

A 60 year old male has been arrested and questioned at a south London police station in connection with the incident.
