Bury St Edmunds murder suspect has bail extended
The 38 year old was arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing last month
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Bury St Edmunds is to be kept on bail for a further two months, as investigations continue.
It follows the death of 43 year old Karl Skoulding. He was stabbed in a car park in Harland Court, off Station Hill on Tuesday April 26.
A 38 year old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and was bailed until Sunday 22 May - his bail period has now been extended until 26 July.
Police think the victim and perpetrator knew each other.
A woman in her 40s, who was seriously injured in the attack, is due to be released from hopsital today.
Officers are still appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the area of Harland Court at the time of the attack.
