Three people sought after attempted robbery in Ipswich

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Ipswich.

It happened between 12am and 12.30am on Friday 11 August in Vernon Street.

The victim, a 19-year-old man, was walking near to ‘Stoke Off Licence’ when he was approached by a group of three people who assaulted him and made demands for money.

No money was handed over and the group then walked away.

The victim did not sustain any significant injuries.

Police are describing the suspects as follows:

• Suspect one: a white man, aged between 30 and 40 years old, and wearing a grey tracksuit.

• Suspect two: a white woman, aged between 30 and 40 years old, with pink hair and wearing a black jacket.

• Suspect three: a white man, aged in his 20s, tall and skinny.
