Body of missing man discovered in Wickham Market

Police can confirm that the body of man has been found in the Wickham Market area.
A member of the public reported the discovery earlier today at about midday (Sunday 22 October) in a field.
Police had been searching the area for a missing male called Calvin Baxter, aged 78, who was last seen on Friday 20 October at about 11am.
Formal identification of the body will take place in due course and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
The next of kin of Mr Baxter have been informed and file will be compiled for the coroner in due course.
It's not clear at this stage if the death is linked to flooding in the area.
