Bike stolen in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appelaing for witnesses to a theft of a pedal bike in Bury St Edmunds.

It took place at some point between 11pm yesterday (23 March) and 7am this morning (24 March) at a property on Sicklesmere Road.

Overnight a 'Whyte' mountain bike, coloured green, was removed from the garden of the victim. The bike was locked to a secure mount bolted to a solid wall. This was located behind a 6' garden gate. The bike was worth about ÂŁ750.

Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious behaviour or knows of the whereabouts of the bike should contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference 37/14421/21.
