Appeal after teenager sexually assaulted and robbed in Ipswich

A teenager has been robbed and sexually assaulted while walking along a street in Ipswich.

The victim, in her teens, was approached by an unknown man between 3am and 3:45am on Sunday (August 7), while she was on Kings Avenue.

He lifted her skirt and then ran off. He later reappeared, assaulting her again before pushing her to the groud.

He stole her phone and bank card before running off.

The suspect is described as male, approximately 5ft 11ins in height and of skinny build.

He was wearing a ski mask and a jumper with the hood up.

Police are urging any witnesses, or anyone who captured dashcam or CCTV footage in the area at the time, to come forward.
