Some Suffolk residents are being told to boil their tap water before using it.

Anglian Water's urging customers around Gazeley, Red Lodge, Kentford, Tuddenham and Icklingham to take the precaution whilst they fix a damaged water main.

Those affected should boil tap water and allow it to cool before using it for drinking, cooking, food preparation and brushing teeth.

The company says the water's fine to use as normal for bathing and general household purposes like flushing the toilet and in the washing machine.

Anglian Water's apologising for the inconvenience - and says they'll keep customers updated.
