Man cut out of car after crash on A14 at Sproughton
A car collided with a lorry in a layby last night
A man has been seriously injured in a crash on the A14 at Sproughton.
Police were called at around 8:45pm last night, finding a car had collided with a lorry parked in a layby eastbound between junctions 52 and 54.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, had to be cut out of his vehicle. He remains in Ipswich Hospital.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses, or for anyone who was travelling on the A14 between Claydon and Sproughton last night, to get in touch.
They're also appealing for dashcam footage.
