Man in life threatening condition after falling from bridge onto A14 near Stowmarket

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after falling from a bridge over the A14 near Stowmarket yesterday.
It happened on the B1115 bridge, with the man falling onto the main carriageway at around 3:45pm.
He was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke's with life threatening injuries.
The road was closed in both directions between junctions 49 and 50, reopening after 5pm.
The man was not hit by traffic during the incident.
